The Age of Innocence Ignorance

The women of Old New York have been brought up as products of their class: they do not desire freedom, or even recognize the evident inequalities. In a rather humorous, politically-correct way the women are conveyed as "innocent", whilst they are definitively ignorant. They subsist in a state of perpetual ignorance, untroubled by what surpasses their understanding.
